There's nothing better than a juicy 3m length of weaving waiting to be cut off the front beam of my loom.....
My time at The Cottage Project makers pop up space, came to end end yesterday as did my weaving commission. The rolling and cutting off ceremony is always exciting, seeing what has been achieved over previous days weaving. This was a very good warp to weave, with strong Shetland wool, I had zero snapped threads (which was a relief when weaving live!). This piece has given me the opportunity to develop new colours and patterns for my weaving, which I am looking forward to expand on over the next few months. I will be sad to see this one go.
