The Cottage Project 'Closing Ceremony'

Last night was a 'meet the makers' party at The Cottage Project to celebrate and thank all the artists, makers, designers and friends who helped to make The Cottage Project pop up makers space and designers show room a huge success over the Olympics. A great party and a brilliant selection of British designer-makers and their hand made wears. Hears my blankets in the shop space.

It was great to be amongst a group of contemporary British makers who all use heritage and traditional crafts techniques to make bold and beautiful work. Screen printing by Lizzie Allen, printed textiles by Lorna Syson, Ceramics by Annette Bugansky, and so much more. I'm so excited about The Cottage Project opening its doors permanently later this year and becoming a hub for makers to sell and show their work and people to hang out, drink coffee and look at beautiful made objects.
